Philippines Villa — 3 Storeys, 6 Bedrooms & Prayer Area
George Villa designed and built the complete interior of this three-storey Philippine family home — a bright, open family level that opens onto the garden, a kitchen-and-dining heart and a formal dining room, an upper wing of six bedrooms, and a dedicated prayer area. Every room was drawn from the client’s floor plan, produced in our Foshan factory and shipped flat-packed in numbered export crates. Below is the finished project, storey by storey and room by room.

The Challenge
A Philippine family home is built around two things — generous indoor-outdoor living and space for the whole extended family.
The brief asked for six bedrooms across three storeys, a dedicated prayer area and a home that feels open to the tropical garden, with a formal dining room and a kitchen-and-dining heart for everyday life. The challenge was to keep the indoor-outdoor flow light and breezy while giving each bedroom — and the master wing in particular — a calm, finished, private feel.
The client also wanted one continuous material story across all three levels — warm wood, soft stone and natural neutrals — so the home reads as a single, relaxed design rather than a stack of separate rooms, from the reception area down to the prayer area.
- Indoor-outdoor flow that stays light and breezy in a tropical climate
- Six bedrooms plus a junior master, each calm and private
- A dedicated prayer area finished to the same standard as the rest
- One continuous wood-and-stone palette across three storeys

Floor Plan Analysis
The villa is organised across three storeys: a garden-facing family and reception level, a kitchen-and-dining heart, and an upper wing of six bedrooms with a prayer area.
The first floor takes the social life of the home — a bright reception area that opens onto the garden, a family room, an office, a powder room, a T&B and a laundry, with a carport at the front. This is the level that keeps the house open to the outdoors.
Upstairs, the second floor carries the kitchen-and-dining heart — a kitchen and dining space, a dirty kitchen and pantry, a formal dining area, a second family room and a bedroom, all around the main stair and a patio. The third floor is the private wing: three further bedrooms, a junior master, the master suite and a dedicated prayer area.

First Floor
Reception area, family room, office, powder room, T&B, laundry and carport — the open, garden-facing level.
Second Floor
Kitchen & dining, dirty kitchen and pantry, formal dining area, a second family room, a bedroom and a patio, around the main stair.
Third Floor
Bedrooms 2–4, a junior master, the master suite and a dedicated prayer area — the private wing.
Room-by-Room Solution

Reception Area
The reception area is the front door to the home. A low sofa and a light wood coffee table sit in front of full-height glazing, so the garden and daylight come straight in. The palette — pale wood, soft stone and warm neutrals — sets the relaxed, tropical tone for the rest of the house.

Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen and dining are the everyday heart of the house. A long stone island with bar seating anchors the space, and handle-less wood cabinetry with a full appliance wall keeps the working surfaces clear. The open plan lets the cook stay with the family in the dining and family room.

Formal Dining
The formal dining room is the space for larger gatherings. A round table seats the extended family, and a full-height bookshelf feature wall with concealed lighting adds warmth and a sense of calm to the room, keeping it distinct from the more casual kitchen-and-dining.

Family Room
A second, quieter family room sits on the kitchen-and-dining level. A light sofa and natural woven textures, with views through full-height glazing, make it a relaxed space for the family to sit and read, keeping the main reception area free for guests.

Office
The office is finished to the same standard as the rest of the home. A solid wood desk, built-in shelving and soft neutral walls give a focused, quiet working space, and the warm wood ties it straight back to the palette used across the villa.

Bedroom 1
Bedroom 1 is a calm guest room on the upper wing. A feature headboard wall in warm wood frames the bed, and a full built-in wardrobe keeps the room clear and tidy, so it works equally well for family and for guests.

Master Bedroom
The master suite is the quiet centrepiece of the third floor. A media wall, a warm wood feature and the same soft stone seen throughout the home give the room a relaxed, hotel-like calm, with the ensuite and walk-in just behind.

Master En-suite & Walk-in
Behind the master bedroom, the walk-in is finished in the same wood and stone. A double vanity with a back-lit mirror, full-height hanging rails and built-in storage make it a proper dressing room, keeping the ensuite calm and uncluttered.
Material & Finish Direction
One warm, natural palette runs through all three storeys, so every room reads as part of the same relaxed home. The base is light-to-mid wood joinery and warm neutral cabinetry, paired with a soft, light stone in the wet areas and on the kitchen island.
Finishes stay matte and tactile — matte-lacquered fronts, warm wood slats, natural stone and soft hardware — with the bookshelf feature wall in the formal dining and the garden glazing as the two deliberate moments that keep the home feeling open and tropical.
Production & Export
The whole villa was built in our Foshan factory and shipped as a flat-packed, numbered set — the same process we use for every export project.
Production Drawings
Every room is drawn to the millimetre from the client’s floor plan. The client approves full production drawings and material samples before any board is cut.
Factory Build
Cabinetry, stone, joinery and built-ins are manufactured and assembled to the approved drawings, then quality-checked room by room on the factory floor.
Flat-Pack & Number
Completed units are disassembled, foam-wrapped and crated. Every panel is labelled with a room and an assembly number so on-site installation follows the labels.
Sea Freight & Install
Crates are palletised and shipped by sea to the nearest port, then delivered to site for the contractor to install from the numbered drawings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you build a whole villa interior from our floor plan?
Yes. We work from the client’s floor plan and produce complete production drawings for every room — cabinetry, stone, joinery, lighting and soft furnishings — for approval before production. That is exactly how this Philippine villa was made.
Do you design a prayer area as part of the home?
Yes. We designed and built the dedicated prayer area as a finished room in its own right — feature wall, soft flooring and warm lighting — to the same standard as the rest of the home, and we build prayer areas on request for other projects.
How do you handle indoor-outdoor flow in a tropical climate?
The villa uses full-height glazing and a garden-facing family and reception level so daylight and air move through the home. We specify the joinery and stone to suit the climate, and your local contractor handles the landscape and any pool structure to our drawings.
What materials did you use on this project?
The villa uses a warm, natural palette — light-to-mid wood joinery, warm neutral cabinetry, soft natural stone and brushed brass hardware. Every material is specified on the production drawings and can be adjusted per project.
How is a full villa packed and shipped?
Every unit is flat-packed, foam-wrapped and placed in export crates, with each panel numbered by room and assembly step. The crates ship by sea to your nearest port and install on site by following the numbered labels.
Can we change finishes or layouts before production?
Yes — that is what the approval stage is for. You can change finishes, colours, hardware and, within the structural grid, room layouts before we release the order for production.
