The client needed a coordinated full-house material and furniture plan for a modern villa in Australia. The project included public areas, private bedrooms, kitchen, pantry, bathrooms, storage spaces, laundry and service areas, so the main requirement was to keep the design direction consistent while confirming practical details for each room.

Full-House Coordination

The villa included many different room types, so furniture, cabinets, finishes and storage details needed to be reviewed as one coordinated project.

Room-Based Functional Planning

Each space had different functions, including living, dining, cooking, working, sleeping, bathing, laundry and storage, so the material and furniture requirements were organised by room.

Consistent Modern Style

The project needed a clean modern villa style with coordinated colours, cabinet finishes, upholstery, wall panels, hardware and surface materials.

Overseas Delivery Preparation

Furniture, cabinets, panels, hardware and accessories needed clear labelling and protective packing to support overseas delivery and site distribution.

Challenge 1:

  • Challenge:
The villa included many different spaces, including living, dining, kitchen, pantry, bedrooms, bathrooms, walk-in closet, study, laundry and service areas. If each space was planned separately, the final result could easily become inconsistent.
  • Solution:
We organised the project by floor and by room, then reviewed furniture finishes, cabinet colours, upholstery, wall panels, counter tops and hardware details together to support a more consistent modern villa style.

Challenge 2:

  • Challenge:
Public areas, private bedrooms, wet areas, laundry and storage spaces all required different material and furniture details.
  • Solution:
We separated the requirements by space type, including public living areas, private rooms, wet areas, storage areas and service spaces, so each area could be reviewed according to its actual use.

Challenge 3:

  • Challenge:
Storage was required in foyer, kitchen, pantry, bedrooms, walk-in closet, bathrooms, laundry, garage and study areas.
  • Solution:
We reviewed storage needs room by room, including wardrobes, cabinets, drawers, shelves, pantry storage, bathroom vanities, laundry cabinets and service storage.

Challenge 4:

  • Challenge:
A full villa project includes many furniture items, panels, hardware packages and accessories, which can become difficult to identify after overseas delivery.
  • Solution:
Room-based labels, item codes, protective packing and hardware package organisation were reviewed to make site distribution easier after arrival.

Important Note on Site Measurement & Installation

Final site measurement, wall condition, floor level, ceiling height, plumbing points, electrical points, delivery access, fixing method and installation work should be checked and carried out by the local project team, installer or contractor.

Kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, laundry cabinets, wall panels, floating cabinets and storage systems may require on-site adjustment according to actual site conditions.

We can help review material details and production information remotely, but final site measurement, local compliance, installation and site acceptance should remain with the local project team.
