QUARTZ BENCHTOPS

Quartz Worktops And Engineered Benchtops

Quartz is the engineered worktop of the villa: consistent slab after slab, no sealing to maintain, and the scratch resistance a busy kitchen needs. At George Villa we cut-to-size quartz benchtops in our Foshan base, on the same 20–30 mm worktop line as the natural stone, with polished, eased, bullnose or flap edges to your drawing. The worktop comes cut install-ready, crate-packed with foam corner protection, with cargo insurance on every stone order.

What Is a Quartz Benchtop Package?

Quartz runs the same slab line as marble and granite, with the same edge profiles and the same cut-to-size process. The difference is the face: quartz reads consistent and low-variation, which is why the formal schemes specify it.

Materials and Finishes for Quartz Worktops

The quartz lines we cut most: the white and grey marble looks for the classic kitchen, the solid colours for a monochrome island, and the concrete looks for the modern schemes. Polished is the default finish.

Quartz carries no sealing schedule, and the dense body resists scratches and stains. Most requested quartz worktop schemes:

Where Quartz Lands in a Villa

Six decisions are made at the drawing stage and are expensive to change after the slab is cut:

Consistency across rooms

Quartz reads the same slab after slab, so the kitchen, island and bathroom vanities all carry one consistent face — no tone matching between rooms, which the natural lines need.

Thickness by application

Benchtops run on the same 20–30 mm worktop line as the natural stone, stated per piece on the drawing. The outdoor kitchen takes the same format.

Edge profile

Polished, eased, bullnose or flap — the same edge line as the marble and granite, cut to the drawing and finished before packing.

Sink and hob apertures

The dense body takes the cut clean, so the sink and hob openings come from the factory marked to the drawing, not chased on site.

Maintenance

Quartz needs no sealing schedule — wipe-clean is the whole program, which is the point where the marble wants its periodic seal.

Packing and insurance

The benchtops ship in steel-frame or heavy wooden crates with foam corner protection, and cargo insurance is available on every stone order. Each piece is numbered to the cut list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does quartz look like real marble?

The quartz lines carry the marble looks in white, grey and the veined families. The difference is consistency — quartz reads the same slab after slab, where the marble is unique per slab.

Does quartz need sealing?

No. The engineered body is non-porous, so there is no sealing schedule to maintain. Wipe-clean is the whole maintenance program.

Is quartz scratch resistant?

Quartz is the most scratch-resistant of the worktop lines we produce, and it takes daily kitchen use without the care the softer marble needs.

What thickness do you cut for quartz?

Quartz runs on the same 20–30 mm worktop line as the natural stone, stated per piece on the drawing. Cut-to-size typically adds 15–25 days.

How is the quartz packed for shipping?

In steel-frame or heavy wooden crates with foam corner protection. Cargo insurance is available on every stone order, and each piece is numbered to the cut list.

Can the quartz match our marble island?

The quartz marble-look lines are matched to the natural marble on the photo, so the island and the rest of the run read as one scheme.
