CUSTOM BEDROOM FURNITURE

Custom Bedroom Furniture for Villas

A custom bedroom package is the whole room drawn to your villa plan: the bed — platform, frame or low base — with its headboard, the nightstands sized to the headboard line, and the dresser or chest in the same wood and finish. Wardrobes are drawn on the same line as our kitchen and wardrobe range, so the bedroom reads as one system rather than a collection of catalogue pieces. At George Villa our Foshan factory produces complete bedroom sets for new-build villas: kiln-dried hardwood frames, E0/ENF board carcasses, upholstered headboards in the fabric you select, and soft-close hardware on every door and drawer.

What Is a Custom Bedroom Furniture Package?

The bed size, headboard height and nightstand depth are fixed against your wall and lighting plan before any cut — the headboard never eats a downlight, the nightstand never covers the outlet. Send your drawing or photos and measurements, and we return production drawings with finish options plus a landed quotation within 24 hours.

Materials and Finishes for Bedroom Furniture

Bedroom furniture is touched daily at close range, so material starts from touch, not sight. Frames are kiln-dried hardwood; carcasses are E0/ENF board or plywood with sealed edges, the same grade as our kitchen and wardrobe lines. Visible surfaces are solid wood, veneer or lacquer; upholstery is confirmed from posted samples.

The finish is drawn from the same lacquer or stain line as the rest of the villa. The six finishes below are the most specified for new-build bedrooms; any approved wood, lacquer or upholstery can match, and the set cures in one batch so the colour is identical from headboard to dresser.

Where Bedroom Furniture Sits in a New-Build Villa

Eight decisions are made at the drawing stage and are expensive to change once the villa is painted and lit:

Headboard against the wall finish

The headboard height is set against your wall treatment — paint, panel or stone — and against the downlight line above it. We confirm both from your plan so the headboard never covers a light or breaks the panel line.

Nightstand symmetry and outlets

Nightstand width is set to the headboard line and to the power outlet positions for lamps and charging. The drawing records each outlet coordinate so the pieces land clear of them, not on top of them.

Walkway and door clearance

We check the walkway around the bed and the door swing against your drawing before the platform is sized — the two most common on-site changes are caught on paper.

Platform versus frame

Platforms give under-bed storage and sit lower; frames with a slatted base give mattress airflow and a higher sit. The choice is fixed on the drawing against the client’s mattress and the floor heating below, where present.

Wardrobe coordination

The wardrobe is drawn on our kitchen and wardrobe line — same board, finish and hardware as the bed set. The handover point is on the production drawing, so the two lines ship as one sequence. For villa-scale layouts, see our walk-in closet design guide for sizing, lighting and storage zones.

Blackout and light layering

We do not supply curtains or lighting, but the production drawing records the dimmer and blackout plan so headboard height and nightstand lamp positions are detailed around them — no new wall work after finishing.

Cable and USB planning

Nightstand tops are drilled and channelled for charging at the factory where the client specifies USB points. The routing is fixed on the drawing, so there are no visible cables after the room is furnished.

Twin and ensuite consistency

For villas with twin bedrooms or a master plus guest suites, the same drawings repeat with per-room variations noted on the set — one production batch, identical finish across the rooms.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom bedroom set?

Typically 15–30 days from drawing and sample approval. Bed, nightstands and dresser are produced on the same line in the same window; the wardrobe on the same drawing ships in the coordinated sequence.

Can the bedroom set be matched to my kitchen and living room?

Yes — that is the standard. Wood species, finish and hardware are drawn from the same line as the rest of the villa, so every room reads as one package.

Do you supply mattresses?

We specify the frame to your mattress or to a client-approved specification. Mattresses can be included in the package where a local or imported supplier is agreed on the drawing.

How are upholstered headboards protected in shipping?

Headboards ship in export crates with corner protection and the upholstery wrapped in VCI film; the frame is assembled in the crate so the upholstered panels take no load in transit.

Can the headboard fabric be matched to my sofa?

Yes — send the sample or specification and we confirm the finish on a posted swatch before production. Fabric and leather are drawn from the same upholstery line as the living room where the client wants continuity.

Is there a minimum order for bedroom furniture?

There is no piece MOQ — we produce one villa at a time. The same drawings repeat for twin villas, townhouse projects or guest suites at a reduced unit cost.
