STONE WALL PANELS & MOSAIC

Stone Wall Panels And Mosaic

Stone wall panels carry the villa’s feature wall: the full-height field behind the island, the wet-room surround, the entry statement. At George Villa we cut marble, sintered stone and natural stone into wall panels and mosaic in our Foshan base — marble in 3 mm, 6 mm and 12 mm slabs, sintered in the 6 mm panel and the 1200×2400 slab — with polished, honed, leathered or matt finishes. Each panel ships in steel-frame or heavy wooden crates with foam corner protection, with cargo insurance on every stone order.

What Is a Stone Wall Panel Package?

The panel line runs two formats: the thin stone slabs for wall fields and the sintered 6 mm panel for full-height cladding, both cut to the drawing.

Materials and Finishes for Wall Panels

The wall panel lines: marble in 3 mm, 6 mm and 12 mm slabs for the classic field, sintered stone in the 6 mm panel for the full-height cladding, and the mosaic for the accent band and the wet-room surround.

The finishes run polished, honed, leathered and matt by family. Most requested wall panel schemes:

Where Wall Panels Land in a Villa

Six decisions are made at the drawing stage and are expensive to change after the panel is cut:

Format by wall

The 3 mm, 6 mm and 12 mm marble slabs cover the wall field; the sintered 6 mm panel covers the full-height cladding. The drawing states the format per panel, not per room.

Full-height fields

The 1200×2400 sintered slab carries the full-height field without a visible joint, which the thin marble slabs cover in courses.

Mosaic accent

The mosaic runs the accent band and the wet-room surround, where the small format takes the curve and the water line.

Finish by lighting

Polished takes the lit wall, honed and leathered take the ambient wall — the finish decision is made against the lighting scheme, not the stone alone.

Packing

Panels ship on edge in steel-frame or heavy wooden crates with foam corner protection, each piece numbered to the cut list. Cargo insurance is available on every stone order.

Cut-to-size timing

Cut-to-size panels typically add 15–25 days on top of slab preparation, because each piece is cut and checked individually.

Frequently Asked Questions

What thickness do the marble wall panels run?

Marble runs in 3 mm, 6 mm and 12 mm slabs for panels and cladding, stated per panel on the drawing. The sintered panel runs in 6 mm.

Can sintered stone go on a full-height wall?

Yes. The 1200×2400 sintered slab carries the full-height field without a visible joint, and the 6 mm panel covers the cladding lines.

Where does mosaic fit in the scheme?

The mosaic runs the accent band and the wet-room surround — the small format takes the curve and the water line where the large panels cannot.

How are the panels packed?

On edge in steel-frame or heavy wooden crates with foam corner protection, each piece numbered to the cut list. Cargo insurance is available on every stone order.

How long does cut-to-size add for panels?

Typically 15–25 days on top of slab preparation, because each piece is cut and checked individually.

Can the wall panel match the worktop?

Yes. The wall field and the worktop run from the same family and the same photo-matched set, so the house reads as one stone scheme.
