SPC & LVT FLOORING

SPC & LVT Flooring for Villas — 4–6mm Wear Layers

Where the floor meets water — kitchen, powder room, laundry, the outdoor-adjacent deck — we specify SPC and LVT planks. The line carries 4–6mm wear layers with textured surfaces, and the planks are water-resistant in the way a villa installer needs them to be, not just on the brochure.

Stone-Plank Composite Specified for Kitchens and Baths

The planks are scheduled from the same floor plan as the rest of the house: per-room areas, the 5–8% waste allowance, box counts and pallet weights. Wet-area items are marked with their anti-slip grades on the pallet label, so the right plank goes to the right room without a second guess at the port.

Materials We Use on the SPC and LVT Line

SPC planks are built on a stone-plank core that does not swell — the same floor behaviour in a Malaysian monsoon as a Florida summer. The wear layer runs 4–6mm with a textured surface underfoot, which is what keeps the plank honest in a wet zone.

LVT planks take the same scheduling and tone families, with a softer underfoot. Both lines print in continuous tone batches, so the kitchen plank and the hallway plank do not fight at the transition. Every wet-area item carries its anti-slip grade on the pallet label before the container closes.

How an SPC Plank Is Built

The eight parts we specify on the drawing, in the order they leave the workshop:

Stone-plank core

The SPC core that keeps the plank flat and stable through wet zones.

Wear layer

4–6mm, applied and cured before the surface texture is finished.

Surface texture

Textured for underfoot grip; the wet-grade items carry their R rating.

Print batch

Continuous tone batch so room to room reads as one floor.

Plank edges

Milled for a tight joint; the transition profile is scheduled with the plank.

Wet-area marking

Anti-slip grade written on the pallet label for kitchen, bath and deck.

Per-room quantities

Areas from your plan plus the 5–8% waste allowance, in box counts.

Pallet packing

Shrink-wrapped on a wooden base, room number on the side.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SPC really water-resistant enough for bathrooms?

Yes — the stone-plank core does not swell, and the line is specified for kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor-adjacent decks on our villa drawings. Wet-area items carry their anti-slip grade on the pallet label.

What is the difference between SPC and LVT on your line?

SPC is the stone-plank core — the rigid, water-resistant plank. LVT is the vinyl-core plank with a softer underfoot. Both share the tone families, the 4–6mm wear layers and the same per-room scheduling.

Can SPC planks be used at the pool deck edge?

The line is specified for outdoor-adjacent decks. For the pool deck itself we grade the item for wet-area anti-slip (R9–R11 family) and mark it on the pallet label — tell us the exposure and we specify the right plank.

How do I match SPC planks to wood-look porcelain in the same villa?

Both lines carry the same Oak Natural and walnut tones, so the composite in the kitchen and the porcelain in the hall read as one family. We schedule the transition profile with the planks.

Does the wear layer thickness matter?

Yes — 4–6mm is the range on the line, and the choice goes on the drawing with the room. Heavier-traffic zones get the thicker wear layer; the difference is visible on the quotation and on the sample box.

Can the planks be cut to my room sizes?

Standard planks ship full-size with the 5–8% waste allowance, which is the normal pattern for composite floors. Cut-to-size service is our large-format slab line, where it saves real money on-site.
