TRACK & SPOT LIGHTING

Track, Spot & Task Lighting for Villas

Track and spot lighting is how a villa shows what it is built from — the stone on the stair, the art on the wall, the counter that gets used. We produce the rail, the spot body, the lens and the driver as one line, so the beam, the color and the finish all come from the same drawing.

The Directed Light for Art, Stone and Stair

Spots run 3 W to 15 W with 15°, 24° or 36° lenses, CRI 90 as the default. Every track set is assembled, aimed on the test bench, and checked for flicker before it goes into the export crate.

Materials on the Track and Spot Line

The body is die-cast aluminium, powder-coated matte black or brushed brass. The lens is a molded optic cut to the beam angle with a polished reflector behind; the head adjusts on two axes and locks where you aim it.

The rail is extruded aluminium, rated for the bodies it carries, with joiners in the kit so a 3-metre run builds from two sections. Drivers are 24 V, sized to the rail load; dimming is chosen per zone on the drawing.

How Each Track Set Is Built

The eight points we specify on the drawing, in the order they leave the workshop.

Rail and track

Extruded aluminium, rated for the body load, in 400 to 3,000 mm sections that join. Surface or recessed to the ceiling, with the mounting bracket and the joiner in the kit bag.

Spot body

Die-cast aluminium, powder-coated matte black or brushed brass. The body is the heat sink as well as the housing, so the finish is rated for the wattage it carries.

Lens and beam

A molded optic cut to 15°, 24° or 36°, with a polished reflector behind it. The beam is what the villa sees — narrow for a picture, wide for a counter.

Light output

Lumen and CCT are set per zone on the drawing — 2700 K for the stone and wood, 3500 K for the counter. The values are printed on the crate label.

Dimming and control

0-10V for the standard case, DALI where the villa has a control system, non-dimmable for the budget zones. The driver is chosen before the bodies are fitted.

Heat management

The body sheds the heat, the rail is rated for it, and the driver sits where the air can move. We burn every set for 24 hours before packing to catch the drift.

Aiming and zones

Each set is aimed on the test bench to the angle on the drawing, then locked. The lock holds through transport, so the electrician aims once on site and does not fight the head.

Packing and export

Rail sections boxed by length, bodies and lenses in separate sleeves, drivers and the English wiring label in a labeled bag. Sets are crated on pallets for sea freight.

How Ordering Works

The same four-step process we use for every villa lighting package — from the first drawing to your loading port:

01

Step 1: Send the zone list

Which walls, stairs and counters take track, the height of each, and what the light should show. A floor plan with the zones marked is enough to start.

02

Step 2: Receive drawing and quote

Within 24 hours we return the track schedule — rail, bodies, beam, CCT, dimming per zone — with the price per body and per villa.

03

Step 3: Approve the sample

One short run is built, aimed and photographed for approval before the full set starts. Sample lead time: 7 – 10 days.

04

Step 4: Production and export

The full set is produced, aimed, flicker-checked, then packed by zone and crated. Standard lead time is 15 – 30 days from approval to loading port.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which beam angle a wall needs?

Art and a stone feature take the 15° narrow — a defined pool of light. A stair or shelf takes 24°. A counter or a wall wash takes 36°. We mark the angle per zone on the drawing so the choice is made once, on paper.

Does the light flicker on my dimmer?

Only the non-dimmable drivers, and only on cheap triac dimmers. The 0-10V and DALI drivers are flicker-free on the villa systems we test with, and every set burns 24 hours before packing.

Can the track be recessed into the ceiling?

Yes — the rail has a recessed mounting option where the ceiling is a false ceiling. The bracket and the recess plate are in the kit, and the finish matches the body.

What is the minimum order?

One run per design, but we quote the villa set — every zone in one crate. Sets are produced in one batch so the finish and the CCT match across the ceiling.

Are the spots replaceable if one fails?

The body is a module on the rail — one is pulled, one is fitted, no rewiring. We include one spare body per set in the crate at no charge, labeled with the set name.

What happens after I send my zone list?

An engineer draws the track schedule to your zones and replies within 24 hours with the schedule, spec sheet and quote. Nothing is produced until you approve the schedule and, if you choose, a sample run.
