LED Strip & Ambient Cove Lighting for Villas
Cove and strip lighting is the layer that makes a villa ceiling look double the height. We produce the full kit in one crate — strip, power supply, aluminium profile, opal cover and the driver or controller — so the electrician on site opens the box and installs, instead of hunting for five different parts.
The Light Layer Nobody Sees, Everyone Feels
Strips run 2700 K through 6500 K, plus RGBWW where the villa wants scenes. Every kit is cut to the runs on your drawing, tested end to end, and labeled with the run length and the power supply rating.

Technical Specifications
The standard specification behind every lighting kit we produce. Every value can be changed per project — send your lighting schedule and we confirm the final spec before production.

Materials on the Strip and Cove Line
The strip is soldered on our own line — 60 per metre for a soft cove, 120 for a line that reads even at eye level. Aluminium profiles are extruded, powder-coated or anodized, with opal or clear cover. The profile does the heat job the strip cannot do by itself.
Power supplies are the part we will not cut on: 24 V for the long runs, sized with headroom, output marked on the label. Damp and wet zones get IP65 or IP67 strip in a sealed profile; the supply stays dry with a separate gland.

Three examples from the line — the living-room cove, the wardrobe line, and the pool underwater run.

How Each Cove Kit Is Built
The eight points we specify on the kit drawing, in the order they leave the workshop.
Strip specification
Density is set by how the line is viewed: 60 per metre for a cove above eye level, 120 for a line at eye level. CCT and CRI are matched to the room’s main lighting so the layers read as one.
Power supply sizing
The supply is sized to the total run with 20% headroom, 24 V for anything over 10 metres. The rating is printed on the crate label so the electrician can check the math on site.
Profile and cover
Extruded aluminium channel, anodized or powder-coated, with an opal cover for a soft line or a clear cover for a defined one. The profile carries the heat the strip puts out.
Dimming and control
0-10V for a dimmable cove, PWM for the budget case, or an RF controller where RGBWW scenes are wanted. The controller and the remote are in the same bag as the strip.
RGBWW scenes
Where the villa wants color, we fit the RGBWW strip with a scene controller — warm ambient, dinner, movie, party. The four scenes are pre-set so the remote works from day one.
Outdoor and wet IP
IP65 for the terrace and under-eave runs, IP67 in a sealed profile for the pool. The supply stays dry and is grafted to the wet run through a sealed gland.
Heat and installation
The profile is fixed to a flat run with the cut lines marked on the strip. We include the end caps, the connectors and the fixing screws, bagged and labeled in English.
Packing and export
Strips are coiled and boxed by run, supplies and controllers in a separate carton, profile cut to length with end caps in. The crate label lists every run by name and length.

Cove, Accent Line or Underwater — Which One Where
The three uses on the line, side by side, the way we mark them on a villa drawing.
| Ceiling Cove | Accent / Wardrobe Line | Pool Underwater | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strip | 24 V, 60 / m | 12 V or 24 V, 120 / m | IP67, 24 V |
| Channel | Aluminium, opal cover | Aluminium, clear cover | Sealed profile |
| Dimming | 0 – 10 V | 0 – 10 V or PWM | 0 – 10 V, dry supply |
| Best zone | Living, dining ceiling | Wardrobe, shelf, counter | Pool, water feature |
How Ordering Works
The same four-step process we use for every villa lighting package — from the first drawing to your loading port:
Step 1: Send the runs list
Which ceilings, shelves and pools take strip, the length of each run, and the CCT or scene you want. A plan with the runs measured is enough to start.
Step 2: Receive kit drawing and quote
Within 24 hours we return the kit schedule — strip, density, profile, cover, supply, controller per run — with the price per metre and per villa.
Step 3: Approve the sample
One run is cut, lit and photographed for approval before the full kit is built. Sample lead time: 7 – 10 days.
Step 4: Production and export
The full kit is built, tested end to end, and packed by run with the labeled crate. Standard lead time is 15 – 30 days from approval to loading port.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you put the strip in an aluminium profile?
The strip cannot shed its own heat, and heat is what ages the LED. The profile does that job, keeps the line straight, and takes the opal or clear cover that makes it read as a light line instead of a row of dots.
Do the coves work with my villa control system?
The 0-10V and DALI drivers integrate with the common villa systems. Send the controller make and model and we confirm the pairing before the kit is built.
Is the pool strip safe for underwater use?
The underwater run is IP67 in a sealed profile, driven from a dry 24 V supply through an isolation transformer as your market requires. The rating is printed on the carton.
What is the minimum order?
One run per design, but we quote the villa kit — every cove, accent line and pool run in one crate. Kits are produced in one batch so the CCT matches across rooms.
Can the strip be cut on site if a run is a metre short?
The strip has marked cut lines every 10 cm and the connectors are in the kit bag, so a small trim on site is fine. The cut line and the connector type are labeled in English.
What happens after I send my runs list?
An engineer draws the kit schedule to your runs and replies within 24 hours with the schedule, spec sheet and quote. Nothing is produced until you approve the schedule and, if you choose, a sample run.
Send Your Runs List for Cove Lighting
The runs, their lengths and the CCT or scene you want — that is all we need to draw the kit and return the quote.
