Materials and Finishes for Office Furniture
Study furniture is specified against use: a working desk takes daily load and cable wear, a display shelf less. The desk top is the most specified piece — solid wood or veneer for a warm working surface, stone for a formal study — on the same E0/ENF carcass line as the rest of the villa.
Seating is specified to the desk height and finish line: hardwood-frame task chairs, upholstered executive seating or a mix. The finish comes from the same lacquer or stain line as the client’s other rooms. The six finishes below are the most specified for new-build studies; any approved wood, lacquer or felt can match.

Desk against the window
The desk position is fixed by the window light and the power outlets. We confirm both from your drawing so the screen sits with the light at the shoulder, not behind the monitor, and the cable run stays hidden.
Cable in the desk top
Power and AV are drilled and channelled in the desk at the factory, with the port positions fixed on the drawing. There are no surface grommets chased into a finished top on site.
Shelf depth against use
Book shelves run 300–350 mm deep; display and file zones are deeper. The internal layout is drawn to what the client actually stores, not to a standard shelf height.
Task seating specification
The chair is specified to the desk height and the sitting time — a task chair for working hours, a visitor chair for the meeting end. The frame finish matches the desk line.
Guest meeting corner
Where the study doubles as a meeting room, we place a compact table and seating set against the remaining wall, drawn so the door swing and the walkway both clear.
Sound in open studies
Open-plan studies take felt or fabric panels on the shelving backing and on one wall. The panel colour is drawn from the room finish so the acoustic layer reads as design, not equipment.

Long pieces ship in export crates on a frame with corner protection, or in two crated halves where the length needs it. The assembly drawing shows the join so the desk lands flat in one setting.
Can you include the chairs and task seating?
Yes — task chairs, executive seating and visitor chairs are specified to the desk height and the finish line on the same production drawing, so the seating matches the furniture.
Is there a minimum order for office furniture?
There is no piece MOQ — we produce one villa at a time. The same drawings repeat for twin villas, townhouse projects or a small office floor at a reduced unit cost.
