CUSTOM LIVING ROOM FURNITURE

Custom Living Room Furniture for Villas

A custom living room package is not a sofa bought off a showroom floor — it is the whole seating zone drawn to your villa plan: a sofa or sectional built to the exact millimetre your room allows, coffee and side tables in the same wood and finish, a TV console matched to the feature wall, and every joint, frame and soft-close hinge specified so the pieces arrive as one system. At George Villa our Foshan factory produces complete living room sets for new-build villas: kiln-dried hardwood frames, E0/ENF board carcasses, upholstery in the fabric or leather you select, and finishes applied and cured in-house before export packing.

What Is a Custom Living Room Furniture Package?

The furniture is drawn from your floor plan before any material is cut, so the seating wall length, sofa depth, walkway clearances and TV console height all resolve on paper. Send your drawing or photos and measurements, and we return production drawings with board, stone and upholstery options plus a landed quotation within 24 hours.

Materials and Finishes for Living Room Furniture

Living room furniture is specified in three layers: frame, carcass and surface. Frames are kiln-dried hardwood; carcasses are E0/ENF board or plywood with sealed edges, the same grade as our kitchen and wardrobe lines; the visible surface is solid wood, veneer or lacquer, per piece and per budget.

Upholstery is selected from posted samples before any cut — performance fabrics, aniline and semi-aniline leathers, foam density and spring specification per cushion. The six finishes below are the most specified for new-build villas; any RAL or NCS lacquer or approved fabric can match.

Where Living Room Furniture Sits in a New-Build Villa

Eight decisions are made at the drawing stage and are expensive to change once the villa is tiled and painted:

Seating wall first

The sofa length is set by the seating wall minus two walkways. We fix the module count against your drawing, not a catalogue width, so the TV sightline and side table positions land correctly in one move.

Floor protection under the sofa

Sofa feet and console legs rest on felt or rubber pads cut to the drawing. On stone and large-format tile we confirm the pad pattern before packing, so the finished floor is never marked during positioning.

TV wall coordination

The media console height is set against your feature wall and the TV mounting coordinate, both confirmed from your architect’s drawing — the console never covers the cable outlet or sits wrong under the screen.

Cable routing

Media units are drilled and channelled for power and AV at the factory. The routing plan is fixed on the production drawing, so there are no on-site chasing or exposed runs after the wall is finished.

Rug zone and table clearance

Coffee table size is set by the rug zone and the 350–450 mm walkway rule from sofa to table. We check the geometry on your plan before production and flag if a standard table will break the line.

Lighting handover

We do not supply lighting, but the production drawing records the downlight and track positions from your lighting plan. The furniture is detailed around them — no new ceiling cut after the joinery is on site.

Corner and L-shaped layouts

Sectionals are built as numbered modules that turn the corner on the same frame line. Corner radii and the chaise side are fixed on the drawing, which is what keeps the join seamless when the set arrives in one container.

Room-by-room container sequence

Living, dining and bedroom furniture from one villa ship as one coordinated set, packed room by room with the assembly drawings in the same order the site assembles them. One container, one sequence, one follow-up contact.

Modular Sofa vs Fixed Sectional vs Loose Pieces

All three fill the same seating wall — the table is how we specify them by default.

We return millimetre production drawings with frame, board and upholstery options, and flag any clearance issue on your plan before you approve.

03

Step 3: Sample Selection

You approve wood, finish and upholstery from posted samples. Fabric and leather are confirmed before any cutting starts.

04

Step 4: Factory Build and Export Packing

The set is built, finished and cured in our Foshan factory, then packed in export crates with numbered assembly drawings — 15–30 days from approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom living room set?

Typically 15–30 days from drawing and sample approval. A full villa package — living, dining and bedroom together — is produced on the same line in the same window and ships in one coordinated sequence.

Can you match a specific fabric or leather I have chosen?

Yes. Send the sample or the technical specification — we work performance fabrics, aniline and semi-aniline leathers and synthetic leathers, and we confirm the finish on a posted swatch before production.

How is the furniture delivered to the villa site?

In export crates with foam, VCI film and numbered assembly drawings, packed room by room. We coordinate the delivery sequence with your builder so each room is furnished as it is handed over.

Do you provide assembly on site?

We supply numbered drawings and pre-drilled, hardware-ready pieces. For villa projects we can also arrange assembly by a local contractor we have worked with, or train your builder’s joinery team from our assembly instructions.

What is the MOQ for a villa furniture package?

There is no piece MOQ — we produce one villa at a time. The same drawings can be repeated for twin villas or townhouse projects at a reduced unit cost.

Can the living room set be matched to my kitchen and wardrobe?

Yes — that is the standard. Board grade, wood species, finish and hardware are specified across all three lines so the whole interior reads as one package.
